The subscription series Symphonic Masterpieces Series is dedicated to the pinnacles of symphonic music and other popular compositions from the 19th and early 20th centuries by composers such as Beethoven, Mahler, Strauss, Debussy, Prokofiev and Bernstein.
The Philharmonic Classics subscription series includes works from the Viennese Classical and Romantic periods – masterful overtures, concertos, symphonies and other orchestral works by the musical geniuses of the time, including Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Brahms.
The subscription series New Orchestral Works is intended for music lovers who are eager to learn about compositions from the 20th and 21st centuries, including the most recent works by Slovenian composers. The concerts are complemented by Preconcert Orchestral Presentations (POP), which shed light on the compositions featured in each programme.
In the Vocal-Instrumental Programme subscription series, the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra, along with superb vocal soloists, explore vocal-instrumental works by Bach and Haydn, as well as composers from the second half of the 19th century, including Brahms, Fauré and Holst.
The Mainly Vocal Programme subscription series presents selected compositions of the Slovenian and foreign choral music repertoire, both a cappella works and compositions accompanied by piano or organ. Its concerts are enriched by preconcert talks and post-concert gatherings.
At the moderated matinees of the Young Ears Series, young listeners are introduced to classical music and have an opportunity to get to know the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, as well as other interesting musical guests.
