Marjan Kozina hall
The Marjan Kozina Hall (Great Hall) is the central hall of the Slovenian Philharmonic. The rental includes security and usher service as well as technical assistance. We also offer the possibility of renting instruments, which is charged according to the Price List for Renting Instruments and Equipment of the Slovenian Philharmonic, as well as the possibility of renting the Slavko Osterc Hall (Small Hall) for refreshments after a concert in the Marjan Kozina Hall.
The organ
The idea of installing an organ in the Great Hall of the Slovenian Philharmonic dates back well into past decades. For the last decade, Dr Mirko Cuderman, conductor and choirmaster of the Slovenian Chamber Choir (today the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir; ed. note) has been a particularly ardent advocate of this project. On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the founding of the predecessor of the Slovenian Philharmonic, Academia Philharmonicorum Labacensium, the management of the Slovenian Philharmonic, led by director Mojca Menart, accepted the challenge and realised this demanding idea.
