In the new season, the Slovenian Philharmonic will perform the famous suite Pictures from an Exhibition, by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky. Mussorgsky was not the only composer to use paintings for musical inspiration. Oops, we mustn’t forget that painters have used music as inspiration for their paintings, too. So what came first, music or painting? Come and draw music.
