Saturday educational concerts for the whole family!
The Slovenian Philharmonic concerts of the Young Ears Series! are unique musical events designed to develop and nurture the musical taste of young listeners. The excellent sales of subscription tickets last season shows that we are on the right track, while motivating us to prepare new first-rate concerts with even greater enthusiasm. In the 2024/25 season, we will prepare as many as six thoughtful and dazzling concerts, where you will have an opportunity to listen to the magical sounds of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir.
In the new season, the Young Ears Series! bears the title Expanding Musical Horizons, as the series events will allow young subscribers to discover many unknown musical landscapes together with our musicians. You will connect music with various social phenomena, composers of ethnic minorities, personality processes and emotions, and venture into the labyrinths of contemporary musical creativity. At the opening concert at the Ljubljana Zoo, many curious small, large, shaggy and furry animals will also have a chance to listen attentively to us.
The moderated Saturday concerts of the Young Ears Series! are intended for listeners from the age of six years, but don’t forget that the subscription tickets are transferable, so young people can visit the Slovenian Philharmonic in the company of their aunts and uncles, grandparents and other relatives or friends.
