150 years of cimbalom music – Solo concert by cimbalom artist Erzsébet Gódor
In commemoration of the outbreak of the revolution and war of independence on 15 March 1848, the Slovenian Philharmonic and the Liszt Institute are preparing a special festive cimbalom concert, evoking the era and the greatest Hungarian composers. Cimbalom player Erzsébet Gódor will showcase at the Slovenian Philharmonic Hall the magic of this unique Hungarian instrument.
Erzsébet Gódor has won first prize and awards at numerous national and international competitions. As a soloist, she has performed in major concert halls in Hungary, as well as in the Netherlands, Italy, South Korea, Germany, and North and South America. In addition to performing, she has been teaching since 2018 and from 2023 she will be pursuing her doctoral studies at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica.
FREE ENTRANCE. Free tickets can be collected at the Slovenian Philharmonic lobby one hour before the start of the concert.
